TRAINS on the Cross City line from Birmingham New Street to Redditch and Bromsgrove have been cancelled today (August 14).
The services on this route have been suspended because of the hot weather.
Network Rail says they are undertaking repairs to the track and equipment on parts of the route.
A statement on West Midlands Railway's website reads: “We're sorry to let you know that due to the hot weather, the service on this route has been suspended.
“Network Rail is undertaking repairs to the track and equipment on parts of the route.
“There will be no trains operating on this route for the rest of the day.
“We have arranged for your ticket to be valid on other routes and there is emergency rail replacement transport to help you get around.”
