SAJID Javid has pledged his support for Rishi Sunak, saying he has the ‘skill and experience’ the country needs.
It was announced earlier today that Rishi Sunak will become the next Prime Minister of the UK.
It’s just months after his resignation as chancellor proved a fatal blow to Boris Johnson’s government.
His victory in the race to replace Liz Truss also comes little more than a month since he lost out to her in the contest to replace Mr Johnson.

Bromsgrove MP, Sajid Javid announced his backing for Mr Sunak last week and has congratulated him on the new role.
He tweeted: “Congratulations Rishi Sunak on becoming the new leader of the Conservatives.
"We face huge challenges, but he has the skill and experience to bring the stability we need.
"The Conservatives must unite behind him and deliver for the British people.”
