LONG queues on the A449 are being caused by a dangerous manhole that was hit by a vehicle at speed on the road.
Drivers are queuing this morning on the A449 past Ombersley due to roadworks blocking off one lane on the dual carriageway.
The work is being carried out near the turn for Hadley.

Major traffic was also seen on the road yesterday morning (Monday, December 5).
It was confirmed by Worcestershire County Council that the manhole in the road had to be "coned off" and fast-setting repair material had to be ordered in.
The dangerous manhole is set to be fixed today (Tuesday, December 6) but the lane closure is still in place.
A vehicle hit the manhole at speed and it had come loose, making the area very dangerous.
Worcester News readers were among those caught up in the traffic problems yesterday morning.
Phillip Tetstall was one of the unlucky motorists who queued in the traffic on the A449.
He said: "I got caught in this traffic this morning and there was not a workman in sight."
Joane Brixton suggested the A449 experiences a lot of traffic-related issues.
She said: "It is the same thing each day and night."
Julie Phillips expressed her frustration with the amount of traffic surrounding Worcester.
She said: "Every key road into the city has temporary lights …progress."
Worcestershire County Council said although the work is underway, one of the lanes will be closed again this morning.
