A FORMER dessert shop on Bromsgrove High Street could be converted into a nail salon.
A planning application has been put forward to Bromsgrove District Council to change the use of the former Delightful Desserts from a café to a nail salon.
The application states no internal or external structure will be changed.
If plans were passed, four jobs would be created for the community including one full-time employee and three part-time employees.
It is proposed the nail salon would be open Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 7:30 pm and 10 am to 5 pm on Sundays.
The building has been vacant since Delightful Desserts closed its doors in 2020.
Last year there were plans put forward for a healthy takeaway called ‘Pepes’ but the application was withdrawn in February.
A determination deadline for the application is proposed for January 9 next year.
