A man has been taken to hospital following a crash on a main road in Droitwich.
Two cars crashed at the junction of Roman Way and Bromsgrove Road this morning.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the scene at 6.34am today (Monday January 9).
An ambulance and paramedic officer both attended.
On arrival, crews found two drivers, both men, who were assessed by ambulance staff.
One of the men was discharged on the scene while the other was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital as a "precaution", a WMAS spokesperson confirmed.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were also called.
Three crews – one each from Droitwich, Bromsgrove and Worcester Fire Stations - attended and had to help make the vehicles involved safe.
"The incident involved two vehicles and one male casualty in his 50s was medically trapped but self-extricated with the assistance of the ambulance service," said a HWFRS spokesperson.
"Both vehicles were made safe by fire service personnel.
"The incident was marked as closed at 7.19am."
