A WINTRY cold snap is on the way with a risk of hoar frost on Worcester roads as temperatures plunge.
The spell of cold weather is set to bring sub-zero temperatures - followed by heavy rain to Worcester.

The heaviest rain is due to fall in Wales which had been issued with a yellow weather warning by the Met Office for tomorrow (Tuesday) which can increase the risk of river flooding in Worcester.
A flood warning has already been issued for River Severn at Court Meadow, Kempsey and Callow End with flooding expected. A flood alert covers other parts of the River Severn, including Worcester.
A spokesperson for Worcestershire Highways and Travel said: "Road temperatures are falling to around or just below zero in places tonight with a risk of hoar frost, however potential sub-zero temperatures will be short-lived and followed by heavy rain.
"We're on standby, ready to act if necessary with any gritting activities."
