PRIMROSE Hospice has raised more than £9,400 thanks to its Treecycling campaign.
The first weekend of January saw Primrose Hospice hold its first Treecycle Christmas Tree collection.
A team of 25 volunteers with eight vans collected 550 Christmas Trees over three days, raising more than £9400 for the charity.
Lucy Perkins, fundraiser at Primrose Hospice and Treecycle organiser said: “I want to say a huge thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who made our first Treecycle event such a success.
“They provided not only their time, but their vans, equipment, and most importantly their enthusiasm to support a great cause.
“This event provides a helpful service to our community, and by making your donation you are supporting your local hospice.
“We want to ensure Primrose Hospice is here for everyone when you need us for many years to come.”
