BROMSGROVE care home residents enjoyed a drag queen performance as part of a Pride event.
Burcot Grange and Lodge which is part of the Berkley Care Group, celebrated Pride with a themed party, including colourful cakes and costumes.
The residents enjoyed the musical talents of Rusty Kate, who performed a wide range of popular classics from Bublé’s ‘Feeling Good’ to Abba’s ‘Dancing Queen’.
Burcot Grange and Lodge’s general manager, Vicky Osborne, said: “We were thrilled to celebrate Pride month at Burcot Grange and Lodge.
“Staff and residents were able to come together in a celebration of love as we enjoyed Rusty Kate’s entertainment.
“Our Pride celebration is demonstrable of our commitment to inclusivity and creating a joyous atmosphere for all our residents, as they were able to join in on the entertainment’s singing and dancing.
“Burcot Grange and Lodge is proud to support the LGBTQ+ community and show our solidarity.”
