The annual Bromsgrove fun days held throughout August saw a record number of people attending across the region.

This summer Bromsgrove District Housing Trust (bdht), in partnership with dedicated volunteers, held four Community Fun Days for residents with a wide range of free activities as well as food, ice cream and a tombola for children.

Head of customer experience at bdht, Ashlea Green, said: “We have been overwhelmed by the positive reception to this year’s events and it was incredible to see the local community come together and connect.

“As well as providing free entertainment for customers and the wider community, the Community Fun Days enabled us to engage with local people and obtain valuable feedback which we will use to enhance and improve our services.”

Bdht has extended their gratitude to all the volunteers, partners and sponsors including Spikes Bikes free bike MOTs, the animal man who brought along snakes to the events and the school uniform stalls that helped make the fun days a huge success.
