A hospice charity is set to host a night of remembrance in tribute to lost loved ones.

The Primrose Hospice and Family Support Centre is inviting residents to its special ‘Evening of Remembrance’ event which will be held on Saturday, December 2.

The evening is an integral part of its 2023 ‘Lights of Love’ appeal which gives people the opportunity to spend time with friends and family and pay their respects to loved ones in the festively lit hospice garden.

Fundraiser at Primrose Hospice, Kelly Weatherall, said: “Now in its second year, we are looking forward to inviting anyone who has lost a loved one to celebrate their lives at our Evening of Remembrance.

“Many members of our community have been supporters of our Lights of Love appeal for countless years, so we want to continue holding this event for them to be able to come together to remember their loved ones and as an opportunity for us to say thank you.”

The event will give people the opportunity to hang a bauble on the Christmas Tree in memory of their loved ones as well as being able to watch performances by Cat Needles, Hanbury First School Choir, The Primrose Choir and more.

The event will open at 3pm at Primrose Hospice, B60 3BW with performances starting from 4pm.

As well as the Evening of Remembrance, the hospice will also be holding church services throughout November.
