TWO young people arrested on suspicion of car theft after a police chase which began in Wythall have been bailed pending further investigation.
A 21-year-old from Wychbold and a 16-year-old from Shard End, Birmingham, were interviewed after being arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, handling stolen goods and dangerous driving.
The arrests followed an incident on Friday January 12 in which the police helicopter helped officers on patrol in Wythall to chase a suspected cloned vehicle on the A435 heading towards Redditch after it failed to stop.
Two people were arrested and bailed with conditions while further enquires are conducted, police said today.
