WEST Mercia Police have issued an update after two men were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

The arrests were made after a man fell from the roof of Threadneedle House in Redditch town centre last week.

Police have now confirmed that the two men, both aged 27, have now been bailed after being held yesterday (March 13).

Officers said at the time of the incident that initial enquiries suggested there was an "altercation between a group of people" on the roof shortly before a man in his 20s fell in Thursday, March 7.

The man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.

West Mercia Police stressed that a firearm had not been discharged following online speculation.
