Tickets are now available for the Three Choirs Festival in and around Worcester.

The event, running from July 27 to August 3, showcases classic and modern compositions, influenced by the natural world, performed by internationally recognised musicians.

Highlighted performances include Elgar's The Kingdom, Holst's The Cloud Messenger, and Bob Chilcott’s The Angry Planet.

Performers include the Three Choirs Festival Chorus, Festival Voices, the BBC Singers, and resident orchestra, the Philharmonia.

In the interlude between performances, attendees can enjoy a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere in the festival village, complete with food stalls and a community bandstand.

In addition to the main concerts, the festival offers a family programme.

The Thorne Trio will provide an entertaining musical experience for children, while the Armonico Consort hosts a family sing-along.

Discounts are offered for multiple family event bookings, with half-price tickets for families on Universal Credit.

For those interested in participating, the festival offers volunteering and performing opportunities.

Singers can register for the host choir or the Youth Choir, while singers and string players are invited to participate in the community showcase concert, Nature Sings.

Volunteers can assist in several roles, such as event management or administration.
