Residents have raised concerns over speeding along a busy main road in Bordesley.
Bradley Thomas, MP for Bromsgrove and the Villages, held a meeting with residents to discuss road safety along the busy A441 route through the village.
Residents, including Karen Kilbride, had contacted the MP to raise concerns and discuss solutions to tackle speeding in the area.
The meeting was also attended by key stakeholders including Councillor Alan Bailes for Alvechurch South, Councillor Marc Bayliss, cabinet member for highways and transport at Worcestershire County Council, and Jon Fraser from Worcestershire County Council's Highways Team.
The MP said improving road safety was one of his top priorities in the constituency and he hopes the meeting will go some way towards tackling the issue of speeding along the A441.
He added that he would be doing "everything he can" to make sure the issue is addressed for residents.
MP Bradley Thomas said: "Improving road safety in the constituency is one of my top priorities, so I was keen to bring together key stakeholders to discuss how we can tackle speeding on the A441 in Bordesley after I was contacted by residents about the issue.
"I now hope residents are listened to and we see action taken to improve road safety along this route, and I'll be doing everything I can to make sure this happens."
