Resurfacing work on a car park in Alvechurch has officially been completed.
Bromsgrove District Council took to social media to share the good news with residents that Tanyard Lane Car Park has been fully resurfaced.
The work saw the car park closed for a number of days whilst the new surface was laid and the lines were painted back on.
The work was completed by the council’s contractors Kelbec as part of a larger ongoing car park improvement project around the district.
There were delays to the resurfacing work last week after a blue Nissan Micra remained parked on the car park despite the council urging residents to remove all vehicles.
The council confirmed that the car was removed by the owner on Thursday (September 26).
In a post on Facebook announcing the completion of the work, Bromsgrove District Council said: "The changes may be Micra to some, but for those who use this car park everyday, it's a big deal.
"A complete and fully resurfaced Tanyard Lane Car Park in Alvechurch."
