A POPULAR stand-up comedian and mathematician is set to take to the stage in Bromsgrove later this month.
Best-selling author and YouTube star Matt Parker will bring his latest live show, 'Getting Triggy With It: Matt Parker Does the Maths,’ to the Artrix Theatre.
Known for blending complex maths with humour, Matt’s new tour promises an evening of ‘crowdsourced chaos’, AI experiments and what he describes as his ‘unique brand of nerdy enthusiasm.’
The comedian is no stranger to viral mishaps.
When he programmed his own Christmas tree lights, more than 11 million people watched the code crash online, and when he uploaded a Wordle-inspired maths project, viewers collectively improved his calculations by more than 40 trillion per cent.
“There is no privacy for Matt when he tries his best,” say organisers.
“It’s time he shaped up and crawled out from under the square named after him.
"Come watch Matt Parker do the maths.”
Mark is a regular face on Discovery Channel’s outrageous ‘Acts of Science’ and has appeared on ‘QI’, as well as BBC Radio 4 programmes including ‘More or Less’, The ‘Infinite Monkey Cage’ and ‘The Museum of Curiosity.’
He is set to perform on Thursday, March 5 with tickets for the show available to buy now.
