FAMILIES across Worcestershire have been celebrating World Book Day in style, with dozens of creative costumes shared by proud parents.
Readers from Bromsgrove, Redditch, and Kidderminster sent in photos of their children dressed as some of their favourite characters from much-loved books and films.
From classic storybook heroes to modern favourites, the outfits showed off plenty of imagination.
World Book Day, first celebrated in the UK in 1998, is held annually on the first Thursday in March to encourage children to discover the joy of reading and to celebrate authors, illustrators and books that inspire young readers.
This year was no different, with families across the region embracing the day and sharing their photos with us for the 2026 World Book Day on March 5.
Thank you everyone for sending us your submissions - we wish we could include them all!
