A MAJOR sculpture exhibition has opened at a historic estate in Alcester.
The event marks the first of its kind to be held at Coughton Court.
Running until May 31, the show features more than 67 contemporary sculptures displayed across the estate’s gardens and stable yard.
Imogen Birch Throckmorton, who manages Coughton Court with her husband Magnus, said: "We’re thrilled to be hosting our very first sculpture trail in partnership with the fantastic team at Oxford Sculptors Group.
"The trail offers visitors the chance to experience contemporary art in a truly unique setting, with each piece carefully placed throughout the gardens and stable yard to surprise and inspire.
"We hope it encourages visitors to explore the estate in a new way and enjoy a memorable day out."
Created in partnership with the Oxford Sculptors Group, the exhibition brings together works from established artists including Arabella Nock, Henrietta Bud, Marie Shepherd, Michele Greene, Paul Whitehouse and Peter Murphy.
Each sculpture has been carefully curated to complement its surroundings, offering visitors fresh perspectives as they explore the grounds.
All pieces on display are available for purchase.
Visitors can explore Coughton Court’s grounds at their leisure, discovering sculptures both large and small nestled among the estate’s historic gardens.
Coughton Court is open to the public from Wednesday to Sunday, 9am to 4.30pm.
Entry to the sculpture trail is included with standard garden and house admission.
Tickets are priced at £15.50 for adults, £14 for concessions, and £6.50 for children. Under-fives enter free.
