POLICE are reminding drivers to remove valuables from vehicles after a sat nav was stolen from a Bromsgrove supermarket car park and a handbag was stolen from a vehicle parked at a district beauty spot over the weekend.
The sat nav, worth £130, was stolen from a silver Ford Mondeo, where it had been left in a cradle stuck to the windscreen at around 2pm on Friday, November 7, at Morrison’s in Buntsford Park Drive, Bromsgrove.
The offender is described as a black man, who drove off at speed in a turquoise Rover Metro, possibly an M or N reg.
The handbag was taken from the boot of a black Suzuki Alto parked at Walton Hill car park in Clent, between 11.15am and 3.15pm, on Sunday, November 9. The mustard-coloured River Island bag, worth £30, contained £40 cash, as well as personal items including a diary, glasses, and make-up.
Anyone with information about either incident should contact Bromsgrove Police on 0300 333 3000 or ring crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
