ANIMAL lovers are being asked to donate their unwanted items to a Rubery charity shop.
The PDSA shop, in Rubery High Street, is appealing for donations of good quality items including CDs, DVDs, books and toys, as well as mens and ladies clothes, shoes and accessories.
PDSA stores raise funds to provide PDSA-funded veterinary treatment to sick and injured pets.
PDSA Store Manager, Lynda Clifton, said: “Why not have a clear out and donate your unwanted items.
“As well as decluttering your home, you’ll be helping a very worthy cause at the same time.”
The store also needs enthusiastic volunteers, passionate about pets, who can lend a hand at the Rubery store.
No previous retail experience is needed, as full training is provided for all new volunteers.
For more details about volunteering for PDSA, call the National Volunteering Centre on freephone 0800 854194 or see pdsa.org.uk/volunteering.
Donations can be taken to the store between 9am-5pm, Monday to Saturday.
For more information call Lynda on 0121 453 8200.
