FOR the second time in a fortnight, the wall of Slideslow Farm acted as a brake for a skidding car that shot off on the wet surface of Alcester Road. James Waddell had been uninjured when his car collided with the wall after skidding. There had been many similar incidents and one view was that the bend held a greasy trap for the unwary. The county council had been contacted and it was hoped action would be taken.
