A SPECIAL event has been organised in Bromsgrove to help the town's homeless and vulnerable people.
The event, hosted by Worcestershire Homeless Appeal, will see people handing out gloves, hats, scarves, sleeping bags, and coats, to anyone who needs them.
Lampposts will also be adorned with scarves, hats and gloves with the message "I Am Not Lost! If you are stuck out in the cold, please take this to keep Warm”.
A spokesman said the event will symbolise solidarity, as well as being an accessible source of warmth for people finding themselves in need.
"This is a perfect opportunity to demonstrate that; we care, we are aware and ultimately are proud to keep Bromsgrove warm," they said.
"Please note - this is an awareness event as well as access to warmth. We also hand out scarves and gloves to those that we see whilst we walk."
The group will be meeting this Sunday, February 24 at 6pm in front of the Slug and Lettuce on Bromsgrove High Street.
