A NEW cocktail has been launched at St John's Wine Rooms in Bromsgrove, with profits supporting the maintenance of a nearby church.
'Heavenly Spirit', which is made from Baileys, Two Birds After Dinner Mint and English Vodka and Giffard triple-sec liqueur, was invented by the wine rooms' team as part of its charity partnership with Friends of St John's Church.
Charity chairman Jo Slade said: "We are very grateful to St John’s Wine Rooms for inventing this deliciously smooth cocktail. We hope that people will come along and try one and support a good cause at the same time."
The money will be used for repairs and upkeep of St John's Church on the same street.
David McNally, co-owner of the bar, added: "Christmas is an important time for charities so we’re delighted to be able to raise awareness of Friends of St John’s in this way."
