A MUSICAL trio consisting of a eight-time Scottish fiddle champion and a Zimbabwean-born multi-instrumentalist is heading to Catshill this week.
'Other Roads' is fronted by singer-songwriter Pete Abbott and is completed by Scottish fiddle champion Gregor Borland and Zimbabwean musician Dave Walmisley.
Together they create an eclectic mix of traditional, contemporary and original compositions, ranging from soft lilting ballads to foot-stomping Celtic fiddle tunes and choruses.
The trio will perform at Bromsgrove Folk Club at Catshill Social Club, on Meadow Road, on Thursday, March 8.
Tickets cost £7 for members, £3.50 for under 25s, and £9 for non-members.
