VOLUNTEERS are being asked to give up a little of their time and help out with the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal this year.
The Bromsgrove branch of the Royal British Legion is hoping volunteers will be able to assist with selling poppies around the area this year as part of the appeal.
Anyone who can give an hour or two on Friday, November 7 or Saturday, November 8 is asked to contact Martin Connellan at Bromsgrove Cobblers on 01527 576560, or Patrick Smith 07949 789841.
Any organisations wanting to lay a wreath at the town’s war memorial as part of the remembrance parade on Sunday, November 9, need to contact Mr Connellan by Monday, October 27 at the latest.
