RUBERY youngsters enjoyed clowning around at their nursery.
The 36 children from Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School, based at Longbridge Methodist Church, have been participating in a week of circus-themed activities.
The staff and children went to the nursery dressed as clowns and took part in a circus workshop.
The fun activities they took part in included juggling, plate spinning, tightrope, and acting like clowns.
They made their own popcorn and candy floss.
Volunteer Darren Walker also put on a clown and magic show.
Jacqueline Walker, the nursery's manager, said: "As the workshop was so popular the children asked to repeat the workshop so also dressed as clowns and participated in new circus activities.
"This has been such a fun and enjoyable way for the children to learn about the life of the circus whilst developing their physical, confidence and communication skills."
