RESIDENTS in Hagley are being asked to keep an eye out for a suspicious man who was seen in the area over the weekend.

West Mercia Police have asked people to get in touch if they see the man after he was seen entering a property on Kidderminster Road South in Hagley on Saturday afternoon at approximately 3.15pm.

Nothing was taken from the property, and the man was approached by the homeowner, and asked to leave, although he didn’t appear to speak very good English.

The man was caught on CCTV and is described as being in his mid to late 30s, 5’8”, ‘foreign looking’, with a stocky build, black hair and a beard. He was wearing a black and green zip-up hooded sports top with ‘Team Venom’ written across the front, and scruffy jeans. He was also carrying some leaflets at the time.

The man has not yet been linked to any crime, but police would still like to speak to him.

If anyone has seen the man or any similar suspicious acting people, they should contact West Mercia Police by calling the non-emergency number 101.
