A BROMSGROVE mum, who has hosted international students for the last three years, is asking more families in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Droitwich to do the same.
Lisa Mistry became involved in the project four years ago as a way to introduce another language and culture to her four young children, and last summer organised a two-week programme for 30 visiting French students.
The students had English lessons at Bournville College, enjoyed games in Cofton Park, a tour of Cadbury World, and even tasted local cuisine at Ben's Fish Bar in Lickey Hills.
Due to the success of last year's visit, the students are planning a return visit throughout June, July and August.
Lisa is also looking for host English teachers. Hosts will be rewarded financially for their hospitality.
The students' English skills range from beginner to advanced.
Anyone who has a spare room or two, and could welcome a student into their home, should contact Lisa on 07702 504 495 or l.mistry@aol.co.uk.
