CREATIVE residents in Bromsgrove have a chance to test their arts, crafts and literature skills in a series of new workshops at Avoncroft Museum.
The workshops will incorporate several traditional crafts and are set to cover topics such as felt making, basket weaving, spinning, woodcraft and Valentine's Day gift making.
Six creative writing sessions are also being introduced, which will use the open-air museum's historic buildings to inspire writer's creativity in a range of genres and styles.
Avoncroft's lifelong learning officer Peter Gale said: “Workshops are delivered in a fun and relaxed style and they offer a great opportunity for anyone to learn a different skill and even start a new hobby.
“Initial interest has been fantastic and we’re already looking to add new sessions to the programme.”
Half day and full day workshops will run throughout the year. For more details visit avoncroft.org.uk or email courses@avoncroft.org.uk.
