A DRIVER who is believed to have suffered a 'medical incident' at the wheel was taken to hospital after a two-car crash in Stoke Heath.
Ambulance services were called to the incident along the B4904 Worcester Road at 12.55pm today (Wednesday, May 24) and police attended to close off the road both ways.
The incident, which took place just off the roundabout by the A38, resulted in a female driver being taken to hospital.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman added: "We were called at 12.55pm to a two-car RTC near to Heathbrook House Nursing Home.
"We sent a single ambulance and there was a nurse already on the scene when we arrived.
"The patient, who was a woman, was believed to have suffered a medical incident prior to the collision. She was taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital."
The road re-opened by 5pm with traffic returning to normal after the accident was cleared.
