AN RAF helicopter was called into Bromsgrove School on Monday (June 19) as part of a training exercise for the Bromsgrove Combined Cadet Force.
Thirty-six cadets got a once in a life time experience to fly in the helicopter over Bromsgrove.
The purpose of the visit was to inspire cadets to study science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) subjects by having first-hand experience of STEM in action.
A school spokesman added: “Additionally it provided training value for the air crew by putting down in a UK urban environment and working with the Cadet Force which, in times of civil emergencies, is beneficial for us all.”
