PRO skaters and BMXers put their skills to the test on a temporary ramp in Bromsgrove's town centre on Saturday (August 19).
Crowds gathered to watch three pro riders - top skaters Daryl Dominguez and Solihull-born Kris Vile, BMXer Jack Clark - perform at the High Street event, while daring amateurs took part in free public sessions and workshops at Kings Ramps in the Housman Statue event space.
The event was part of Bromsgrove District Council’s Better Bromsgrove project, delivered by North Worcestershire Economic Development and Regeneration (NWedR).
Councillor Karen May, Bromsgrove District Council’s portfolio holder for economic development and the town centre, said: “The skate parks across the district are always buzzing with young people and we’re delighted to take that up a level for this event and welcome top quality pro skating and BMX into the town centre."
