A NETWORKING group for women in business will take place in Stourbridge tomorrow to mark International Women’s Day.

NetChix Business Network meet every other Thursday at Brewers Fayre in the town.

The group, which was founded in 2016, organises networking groups for women to meet up while juggling childcare commitments.

Tracy Ford, co-organiser of the network, said: “It’s very important that women feel empowered to start and build their own business, very often whilst juggling children, husbands and homes.

“It’s not an easy step to take and International Women’s day highlights that there are lots of fantastic women doing a fantastic job.”

Every meeting includes a ten-minute slot for members to showcase their business in more detail and is free to attend.

Tracy continued: “For those starting out in business, we’ve all been there and can offer advice and support based on our own experiences.

“For those who are more established it’s a great way to promote your business locally and build your network.”

Meetings take place after the school run and attendees are welcome to take their children along.

Tracy added: “Everyone is welcome, we have a couple of NetChaps that come along too.”

The meeting on Thursday March 8 will start at 9.30am at the Birmingham Street venue.
