AN urgent appeal has gone out to Redditch residents to help find a missing baby barn owl.
Zeb, around six months old, believed to be male, has been missing from the Matchborough area since Sunday night. He will be hungry and could try to get inside somewhere.
Zeb has a large caged area in his garden for when he sleeps in the day, and usually sits on his stand outside or flies around the house.
Owner Jenni Cooper said: "He hasn't flown free before we were just starting to practise on a leash. He is very tame and may go looking for a friend in a human over the next couple of days as he will be hungry. If anyone does see him please call me and we will come straight away."
She added: He is hand reared and tame. I don't want anyone to be scared of him. He's very gentle."
If anyone spots Zeb they can call Jenni on 07796957286.
