POLICE in Redditch and Alcester are urging all food shops to refuse to sell eggs and flour to anyone under 18.
The drive is part of plans to crack down on anti-social behaviour and disorder over the Halloween and Bonfire Night period.
Posters have been produced which shops, if they wish, can place in their windows.
The poster states: "This store is supporting the police during this time by refusing to sell EGGS and FLOUR to anyone under 18 who is not accompanied by an adult.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
