A homeless man has been put before the courts and fined after repeatedly begging in Redditch.
Anthony John Bellamy appeared before Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Saturday, February 9.
The 38-year-old of no fixed address faced two charges of approaching members of the pubic in Redditch and asking them for money, despite being prohibited to do so by a criminal behaviour order made by Redditch Magistrates Court on May 2, 2018.
Bellamy admitted both charges.
For the first offence - committed on Saturday, January 27 - he was fined £50 and ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge as he had already served time in custody awaiting the hearing.
The court ruled that he would pay £10 a fortnight.
There was no separate penalty issued for the second offence, which was committed on Wednesday, January 23.
