A DRIVER is lucky to be alive after flipping his car onto its roof - even somehow managing to slip out and run off.
However, a member of the public chased the driver until police arrived on scene.
The man, who only suffered minor injures, was arrested for providing a positive breath sample.
No one else was hurt in the incident, which took pace early on March 22 on the Evesham Road.
Police in Redditch have shared the shocking image of the man's wrecked car and are warning people not to drink and drive.
Commenting on Twitter they said: "The picture below is for anyone who thinks a few drinks the night before is okay, before driving to work. If you drink, just don't drive!"
Police confirmed that a 33-year-old man has been arrested and released, and investigations are ongoing.
