A NEW family business in Bewdley are offering a range of healthy smoothies, juices and soups for residents on the go.

Owners of Bloom 'n Blender, at Welch Gate, which opened yesterday (Sunday, July 21), hope to share their passion for healthy living with the town.

Bewdley-born Ian Kingsley, aged 37, and his wife PJ, aged 43, want to offer more options than a typical cafe, serving low sugar, organic, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free alternatives for the growing market.

The two originally met in the Caribbean, and have now settled in Bewdley with their two children Pippa, aged six, and Finn, aged two, after travelling the world.

They want to encourage people to think about the environment, using plastic-free, plant based takeaway containers which are biodegradable.

The business also purchase renewable source electricity, supplied by Haven Power.
