A MAN from Kidderminster used another person's bank cards to buy alcohol and cigarettes for himself.
Stuart Busby, of no fixed abode, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Monday (September 2), where he pleaded guilty to theft, fraud by false representation and possession of a class A drug.
On August 31, the 38-year-old stole a handbag containing cash, bank cards and other items from a woman in Kidderminster.
He also admitted committing fraud on the same day by using someone else's bank cards without their knowledge or authorisation to buy alcohol and cigarettes for himself.
Busby also pleaded guilty to having in his possession a quantity of cocaine in Kidderminster on September 1.
A community order was made, requiring Busby to undergo six months of treatment for drug dependency.
He was fined £20 for the theft and must also pay compensation of £52, a £90 victim surcharge, and £100 in court costs.
The drugs were seized and destroyed.
