A MAN from Kidderminster stole headphones worth more than £500 from supermarkets in the town.
Mark Guest, of Comberton Hill, admitted four counts of theft when he appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on September 19.
On August 16, the 41-year-old stole a pair of JVC wireless headphones and a pair of Kitsound bluetooth headphones to the value of £90 from Tesco in Kidderminster.
Guest also stole Groov-e headphones and JVC headphones worth £70 from the store that same day.
Two weeks later, he stole alcohol worth £70.50 from Kidderminster Tesco and, the next day, stole more headphones worth a total of £364 from Sainsbury's.
He was sentenced to four months in prison, suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay a £122 victim surcharge.
Magistrates said his crimes were made more serious by his record of offending.
