A SECURITY guard was assaulted by two men during a performance at Dudley Town Hall.
Police were called to the town centre venue on St James's Road at around 9.10pm on Friday night (October 18), following reports of an assault.
The guard was attacked by two men when they were asked to leave the performance due to their behaviour.
The incident, during which a window was also smashed, took place during a stand-up show by comedian Jimeoin.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Police said: "Police were called to Dudley Town Hall at around 9.10pm on Friday (18 October) to reports of an assault.
"A security guard was assaulted by two men after they were asked to leave a performance due to their behaviour.
"A window was also smashed. "
Police are now working to trace the two men involved in the incident.
