A YOUTH market will take place in Halesowen town centre next week with a whole host of school choirs set to get shoppers in the Christmas spirit.
The market will be in Somers Square on Wednesday December 11, from 10am till 3pm.
It has been organised by Halesowen BID along with Halesowen College and Earls High.
At around 1.30pm the School Christmas Carol Service will begin, with choirs from Halesowen CofE Primary, Huntingtree Primary, Olive Hill Primary, Caslon Primary, Quinton Church Primary and The Earls entertaining shoppers
The Mayor of Dudley David Stanley will be attending to support the youngsters as they perform Christmas hymns for the public to join in with.
BID manager Vicky Rogers said: "Earls High teacher Esther Humpage has co-ordinated the schools for this event and we look forward to this festive cheer in the town centre next Wednesday.
"Parents and relatives will flock to the event but we welcome everyone along to join in the festive spirit."
During the morning Halas Homes' choir will perform.
