DRIVERS have been warned to expect delays while work is carried out to repair a collapsed sewer in Lye.
Lye High Street is closed to westbound traffic from today (Thursday, December 5) to repair the damage, which is causing flooding and damage to properties.
The closure is in place from the High Street's junction with Talbot Street.
Severn Trent Water are working to make the repairs to the 2. metre deep sewer which is based in the middle of the carriageway.
A diversion is in place via Windmill Hill, Two Gates Lane, Two Gates, Oldnall Road, Brook Holloway, Wollescote Road, Grange Lane and Pedmore Road.
Drivers have been told to use alternative routes where possible.
