STOURBRIDGE trampolinists have been jumping for joy following their latest round of competition success.
A total of 22 youngsters from the town's Ultimate Trampoline Club took part in the British Schools Gymnastics Association West Midlands Regional Schools Trampoline Competition on December 8 - nine of whom walked away as regional champions.
Freya Neale, Trearna Hart, Rory Gibson, Felicia Bayley, Arryon Hart, Catrise Hart and William Hughes and the St James’s School team - Felicia Bayley, Imogen Shuttleworth and Taylor Spittle - all picked up first place medals.
While Emily-Mae Smith, Emily Gibbon, Ellison Hart and Josh Bradbury all qualified for the central zonal round of the competition which will take place in Cardiff on January 18.
All will now face competition from fellow trampolinists from the East of England, East Midlands, Wales and West Midlands.
