POLICE have been cracking down on poor parking by parents near an Oldbury school.
Officers carried out parking patrols around Perryfields Primary School in Apsley Road on Thursday (January 16) after being contacted by the school over the issue of bad parking.
They issued tickets to vehicles found in dangerous and illegal spots warning drivers on Twitter to expect a fine in the post.
Police also posted a picture of a car parked on the junction of Ethel Street and Farm Road in Oldbury, blocking drivers' views and warned the driver to expect a £100 fine in the post.
