A FURTHER four patients who tested positive for COVID-19 have died at Russells Hall Hospital.
Dudley hospital chiefs confirmed today the deaths of four patients, aged between 76 and 86-years-old.
All four patients had underlying health conditions.
The announcement brings the total number of patients who have died at the hospital after testing positive for the virus to 110.
Diane Wake, chief executive of The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust, said: "Sadly, we can confirm that 110 patients being cared for at our hospital, and had tested positive for COVID-19, have died. Four of those have been announced today.
"The patients were aged between 76 and 86 years old and all patients had underlying health conditions.
"Our thoughts and condolences are with the families and friends of those patients at this very difficult and distressing time."
