THIS week we are delighted to be able to showcase pictures produced by the Dudley Society of Artists.
The DSoA is and is one of the oldest in the country. It was founded in 1928 when local art teachers, both professional and amateurs artists and members of the general public came together to form a friendly and art focused group.
The society is open to everyone and in normal circumstances meets every Wednesday evening, throughout the year, including during school holidays, 7-9pm at St James Academy (formerly the Dudley Grammar School) on St James Road.
Members work is featured at least twice a year at Himley Hall or Dudley Canal Trusts Waterside Gallery.
Potential members can visit three times without charge to see what we do and sample the atmosphere and joining fees are £20 per year and £2 per session attended with monthly demonstrations/workshops at £4.
