THE Primrose Hospice shop in Headless Cross will reopen today (Saturday, July 4).

Staff have been busy making sure measures are in place to keep customers and volunteers safe as it prepares to welcome back shoppers.

Doors will be opened at the Headless Cross branch at 10am with plans to trade on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

There will be changes in the way we operate with customers asked to stick to social distancing as well as other Government rules.

To make sure the shop is safe for everyone to use, the store has implemented PPE to include counter “sneeze guards”, face guards, masks and gloves, signage around the store to highlight social distancing and a hand sanitiser station for customers to use on entering the shop.

Primrose Hospice’s other charity shops in Redditch, Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Rubery will remain temporarily closed.

The Headless Cross shop will also be able to accept donation on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays only.

The charity says they are also accepting donations but can only take certain good quality items.

Items they can accept includes bagged clothing, shoes and handbags as well as boxed bric-a-brac, books, DVDs, CDs and console games.
