A POPULAR antiques fair is set to return to Himley Hall this month, after being suspended by the coronavirus pandemic.

The Antique and Collectors Fair returns on Sunday, July 19, with social distancing measures in place to keep antiques lovers and collectors safe.

The fair will operate entirely outside on the Hall's courtyard and lawns, while stringent hygiene measures will also be in place.

Vicky Rowson, organiser of the event, said: "We are pleased to announce the return of the fairs at the historic hall in Dudley. The fairs were brought back to life in July 2019 at Himley Hall after a hiatus of nearly 30 years but unfortunately had to be suspended due to the outbreak of COVID-19 back in March

"After a very strange few months where we have all had to lock ourselves away and do our bit to fight the virus, we are thrilled that we are now able to bring the fairs back after getting the go ahead for Sunday 19th July.

"We hope to make the day a relaxing enjoyable experience for all the visitors and collectors alike, to wander around the wonderful grounds and maybe spot an unusual item or find a bargain. You never know what you will find."

The fair takes place from 9am until 4pm and costs £2 to attend, while entry is free for under 16s.
