A PIZZA delivery diver was attacked at knife-point during a frightening carjacking in Halesowen.

The victim was knocked to the ground and threatened with a knife by three men in Summit Gardens at 11.30pm last night (Monday July 13).

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said it was a "terrifying ordeal" for the driver, who was in his 30s.

His car, a Toyota Corolla, was taken but has been recovered by police. His mobile phone was also stolen. 

The spokesman said: "We're investigating after a delivery driver was carjacked at knife point in Summit Gardens, Halesowen, around 11.30pm yesterday.

"He was approached by three men who demanded the keys to his Toyota Corolla.

"The man in his 30s was knocked to the floor and threatened with the knife before the robbers made off with the vehicle.

"The delivery driver suffered only minor injuries but this was a terrifying ordeal for him.

"His mobile phone was taken but the car has since been recovered and will undergo forensic tests to help us establish who the robbers were.
